When I first set my eyes on the original photo in the news I was not distracted. And then I always imagined painting her but lack of confidence paused me. Finally with the right materials I decided to portray her. The lips speak the thousand words and it was the most difficult part to paint. This is Still Life painting. Original work by Steve Mccurry's AFGHAN GIRL for the National Geography.
